> I'm Alicia, a Staff Software Engineer building software in the social impact space for non-profits. I share my home with my partner Kellen and our two cats, Leo and LilyPad.
For over a decade I've built software at some awesome places.
I got my start working for a Y-Combinator startup building accessible chatbots (shout out to Olark!). That tight knit and supportive incubator gave me the tools to succeed at an ed-tech unicorn with an amazing bunch of high performing engineers to learn from.
Now I am building software in the social impact space for non-profits. I have the opportunity to help people help people, and it's rad.
When I'm not coding, you'll find me exploring my rainy city, diving into fantasy books, or sword fighting at my local HEMA club.
